Plant Description

Acca sellowiana (aka Feijoa sellowiana)

Edible fruits ripen in autumn but remain green on this slow growing, multistemmed shrub that becomes a small tree with age. It is most attractive when lower branches are trimmed away; alternately, it may be pruned as a hedge or espalier. In spring, red and white pincushion edible flowers decorate bluish green foliage carried on outer branchlets.
