Given excellent drainage, this Australian native thrives nearly anywhere, filled with dangling, bell-shaped flowers late fall through spring, attracting bees and hummingbirds to tubular blossoms when few other plants are in bloom. Select cultivars for white, yellow, coral, red, or chartreuse blossom color and optimal height. Twiggy branchlets with small leaves may be left to sprawl or be sheared to desired shape.
