Plant Description
|
Amenable to pruning as a hedge or training as a small tree, this shrub has an upright habit with green to burgundy willowlike leaves. Flowers are insignificant but an abundance of papery seedpods bestow festive colors in autumn in reddish pinks, tan, or green. Lack of summer water slows growth; shade encourages sparse branching; regular trimming promotes bushiness.
