Plant Description
Commonly named silk tassel for decorative 3-12” long catkins that decorate new branchlets December through February, the male form being the more dramatic. Inland, provide partial shade and periodic summer water. Well-drained soil a must or will suffer branch dieback. Prune immediately after flowering or sacrifice bloom for the following year.
