Plant Description

This large, bulky shrub similar to crape myrtle assumes the size of a small tree with age and is useful as a single specimen or screening plant. Small, dense but puffy white blossoms nearly cover the canopy in late summer and are followed by bluish black berries. Selected pruning exposes lower branches and handsome cinnamon bark.
