Kurt Hembree grew up in Sonoma County, where he attended school and wor
ked on various fruit ranches during the summer. He obtained his B.S. and M.S. degrees in plant science at California State University, Fresno. He has been a University of California Farm Advisor in Fresno County since 1994 and specializes in weed management in crop and non-crop situations.
