IRRIGATION BASICS AND BREAKTHROUGHS

Water is becoming more expensive and its use more restricted each year.  This workshop will cover ways to make your existing irrigation more efficient and introduce new irrigation devices designed to help you save water.

Dr. Larry Schwankl is an irrigation engineer who has worked for private consultants and various federal and state agencies.  For the past 20 years he has worked for the University of California Cooperative Extension as an Irrigation Specialist.  He works with both agricultural and urban water users and specializes in irrigation scheduling and irrigation systems, all with an eye toward being as water efficient as possible.
