Community Club Leader

- Each club should identify a mechanism by which to replace community club leaders
Events:
- Oversee community club general meetings
- Oversee community club executive board meetings
- Oversee club events
Responsibilities:
- Recruiting and enrolling new and current members with all reasonable effort
- Recruiting and enrolling new and current volunteer leaders
- Turning enrollment information into the CE office in a timely fashion
- Attend County Council meetings and report back to club, or send a delegate
- Plan with club Executive Board the club 4-H year
- Assure that club officers and project leaders are aware of and attend training sessions
- Disseminate information regarding the 4-H program to 4-H members and leaders
- Maintain records and files of membership and project information
- Maintain an annually updated binder to pass on to the next club leader
- Identify, locate, and reserve meeting place for club meetings
- Support and encourage member involvement on local committees and county-wide events
- Participate in annual Community Club leader orientation
- Conduct parent meetings twice a year
- Conduct on-going training of executive board
- Participate in Leadership project
- Respond to situations as they arise
Financial Duties:
- Oversee club treasurer and financial bookkeeping
- Update inventory
- Identify 2 youths and 2 adults that have no contact with the treasurer to conduct a financial audit of club
