  • Invite local reporters to observe and photograph community service activities
  • Invite local dignitaries to attend and present at award ceremonies
  • Place ads in monthly notices/papers about meeting dates and times
  • Make sure local paper reports on special honors and activities accomplished by any members: fair prizes, scholarships, record book awards
  • Send out fliers at schools detailing a brief description of 4-H, including meeting dates and times
