The University of California Cooperative Extension and Tahoe Resource Conservation District are collecting input on the need for a Master Gardener volunteer program in the Lake Tahoe Basin. The information collected in this survey will be used to gauge public interest in developing a program and to plan the program if interest seems high. Your information will be kept confidential. Master Gardener volunteers serve the community by providing education on home gardening and landscaping. After successful completion of a 50 hour training course, Master Gardeners commit to 50 volunteer hours during their first year of service, and 25 volunteer hours per year thereafter.
